  • 8 large ice cubes
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 medjool dates, pits removed
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons almond or cashew butter
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup nondairy milk, such as almond, coconut, or hemp plus more as needed

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in blender and run on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down occasionally. Adjust consistency with more milk, if needed.
