Strawberry Balsamic Reduction

Ingredients

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 cup diced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • In small saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil over medium heat while mashing strawberries with fork against edge of pot. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Strain and refrigerate for up to a week in covered glass jar.
