6organic dried Black Mission figs or Calimyrna figs, stemmed, sliced into 1/4-inch slicesabout 4-5 slices per fig

4ouncesgoat cheese or soft brie
16crackers or crostini
16pieces fresh arugula or mixed greens
Instructions
Combine oil and onion in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté until onions are coated and softening. Add sliced figs and vinegar. Sauté 2–5 minutes until figs soften and are nicely coated. Remove from heat.
Spread cheese on crackers or crostini to lightly cover and evenly distribute. Top with one or two small pieces arugula or mixed greens. Top with fig mixture and serve.
