Mason Jar Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 Tsp Low-sodium chicken bouillon powder, dairy free if desired, or bone broth powder
  • 2 1/2 Oz Egg Noodles, Buckwheat Ramen, or Spiral-Shaped Pasta
  • 1/4 Tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 Tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 Tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/4 Tsp Dried Rosemary
  • 1/2 Tsp Dried Chives
  • 1/8 Tsp turmeric
  • 2 2-inch Strips Dried Lemon Peel optional
  • 1/4 Tsp salt
  • 1/8 Tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • To assemble jar, combine ingredients in 16 oz Mason jar.
  • To prepare soup, in medium pot, bring 3 cups water to a boil. Add contents of Mason jar. Simmer, uncovered, for 6 to 8 minutes, or until noodles are al dente. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
