Hot Pink Protein Latte

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small, cooked beet peeled
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk, or milk of choice
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp maple syrup optional

Instructions

  • In blender, blend beet, milk, protein powder, cinnamon, ginger, and maple syrup, if using, until smooth.
  • Pour into small saucepan and gently heat over medium until steaming, but do not allow it to boil.
  • Using hand-held frother or whisk, stir mixture vigorously in pan to create foam. Alternatively, pour mixture into jar with tight lid and shake for 30 seconds until foam forms.
  • Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
