Citrusy Green Tea Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 2 ripe bananas frozen
  • 2 tangerines or small oranges frozen
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
  • Toppings (such as fresh berries tangerines, papaya slices, kiwi)

Instructions

  • In small bowl, add matcha powder to hot boiling water. Whisk until completely smooth. Set aside to cool.
  • In blender, combine matcha shot, frozen bananas, tangerines or oranges, spinach, Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and protein powder. Blend until thick and creamy.
  • Pour smoothie into bowl and add desired toppings. Serve immediately.
