One week of hydrating meals
Drinking water is essential. Even mild dehydration can contribute to tiredness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, constipation and headaches.
Scientists consider roughly 11 cups (or 91 ounces) of water a day for women and 16 cups (or 125 ounces) a day for men adequate, based on average intakes they’ve found in studies. Your individual needs may be higher or lower.
Eating foods rich in water—such as fruits, veggies and some dairy products—can help you get more of this important nutrient. We've made it easy for you to incorporate those water-rich foods into your daily diet with our DL-approved shopping list and this tasty and healthy seven-day meal plan.
