97 percent of U.S. adults who take a supplement take vitamins and minerals, making them by far the most popular category of supplements in the country.
That's according to data from the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN)'s annual survey of dietary supplements released this fall.
To find out who takes supplements, what supplements they take, and why they take them, CRN gathered data from an online survey of 2,100 U.S. adults in August 2014. The infographic below provides a snapshot of the results.
