Nachos Serves 2 What four words describe your child’s perfect snack? “Ready in a minute!” Nachos are fast food that all kids can learn to make. And the good news is that it’s a lot healthier than any drive-thru fast food, too.

(about 24 chips)
1/4 cup grated lowfat cheddar or jack cheese
Favorite nacho toppings: chopped green onions, sliced black olives, jalapeños, etc.
Bottled salsa
Lowfat sour cream
1. Place chips on a microwavable plate. Sprinkle cheese over chips followed by desired toppings. Microwave 1 minute or until cheese is melted (or bake in a 350°F oven 8 to 10 minutes). Serve with salsa and lowfat sour cream if desired.
