Kids' Guacamole
Ingredients
- 3 ripe Hass avocados, peeled and pitted
- 2 small tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1/4 cup loose-packed fresh cilantro leaves
- Juice of 1 lime about 3 tablespoons
Instructions
- Scoop out flesh from avocados and place in a bowl; mash with a fork to desired consistency.
- Stir in tomatoes, onion, garlic, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Fold in cilantro and lime juice. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking. Chill for 30 minutes (if your kids can wait that long!).
