Ingredients
  • 2cups honeydew melon chunks
  • 12leaves fresh mint
  • 5cups water
  • 2 1/2tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 2tablespoons lime juice
  • Small pinch Himalayan pink sea salt
  • SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
  • Blender
  • Nut-milk bag or fine strainer
Instructions
  1. Put honeydew, mint and water into blender and liquefy.
  2. Pour liquid through bag or strainer and let it settle for 5 minutes.
  3. Skim foam off the top as you would with homemade broth.
  4. Return the strained liquid to the blender and add sweetener, lime juice and salt; blend until sweetener is fully incorporated.
  5. Chill or serve immediately over ice.
Recipe Notes

For a crisp, clean, cold-water texture go slow when you pour through the bag or strainer and do not force it. If you have time, let it press itself through until its done.
