Brown Butter Gingerbread Pear Crisp

Anjou pears
sliced

pure organic maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and swirl until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Set aside to cool.
In bowl, mix oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, pecans, and all spices. Mix until well combined.
In another bowl, toss sliced pears with maple syrup and half of browned butter.
Take remaining half of browned butter and mix into oat mixture.
Spread pears into a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking dish and sprinkle oat mixture overtop.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and pears are tender.
Serve warm, optionally with a dollop of Greek yogurt or coconut whipped cream.
