Ingredients

apples, peeled if preferred, cored, and roughly sliced

cup
dried cranberries

cup
apple cider

tablespoons
fresh lemon juice

cinnamon stick
1/4
cup
clover honey

blueberries, raspberries, or sliced strawberries

tablespoon
lemon zest
2 medium lemons
Instructions
Place apples, cranberries, cider, lemon juice, and cinnamon stick in a large pan and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
Stir in honey and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Remove cinnamon stick and mash apples with a wooden spoon to desired consistency.
While mixture is still hot, stir in remaining fruit and lemon zest. Serve immediately.
