Stop the burn
I was happy to see Liz Zack’s article “Heartburn Help” (July 2004) on nutritional advice for heartburn sufferers. We don’t need the “purple pill.” I have lived with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) for more than 15 years and have come to rely on natural remedies for relief. Among the most powerful heartburn relievers for me are a cup of miso soup or a cup of ginger tea (a few slices of ginger steeped for about 10 minutes).

Deliciously in love
My darling Delicious Living. Sorry, I meant Delicious Loving. I adore and worship you. Your heart is so complete, so provocative to me. You tell me you love me, too, with every word on every page. Thanks especially for the lemon balm information (July 2004) and the recipes—I try them regularly.
Please keep on giving me what I so desire. You’re wonderful.

Be cool
I really enjoy your magazine. Sometimes I pick up a copy at Whole Foods Market. Summer here is very hot, so I always want to make something cooler. I loved the “Cool Food” (June 2004) recipes. In a future issue, could you include a recipe for cold noodles? They are healthy and tasty. In Taiwan, where I’m from, they’re called “lung mien” (cold noodles). Thank you for your efforts.

One-store woman
I have had a heart attack and have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. Several months back I decided to eat healthy food and shop at one place: Wild Oats. While there, I discovered Delicious Living, and now I’m completely hooked on your interesting and informative magazine and its features. I would like to see more stories and information on arthritis. Thank you.

A natural look
I first found your magazine at Chamberlain’s in Kissimmee, Florida. I enjoy getting help and hints regarding personal health. I also like Delicious Living because the colors look natural. Keep going that way.
