Eating organics when you’re pregnant is common sense, but it’s equally important when you’re trying to conceive—or even sooner. A number of recent studies suggest a link between pesticide exposure and impaired hormonal function in women and decreased semen quality in men. If you want to get pregnant, memorize this list of organic must-buys: apples, bell peppers, celery, cherries, imported grapes, nectarines, peaches, pears, potatoes, spinach, and strawberries.
