Trap wasps. Nothing can ruin a nice afternoon in your backyard hammock or lunch on the patio faster than swarming, buzzing wasps. Keep those little suckers out of your orbit by boiling two parts sugar and one part water to create a simple syrup. Pour it into a glass jar, set it on a flat surface, and watch those wasps flit on over to it en masse. When they creep into jar to get the sticky stuff, they’ll become trapped. You can decide what to do with them next.
