6. Control your condiments
When having food delivered or ordering hotel room service, you’ll often get waaaay more condiments than you need or want. This even happens sometimes at sit-down restaurants. Of course, the staff is just trying to ensure you’re satisfied (and cut down on extra work later), but 10 packets of ketchup plus four relish packs and two types of mustard? That’s quite excessive, especially if you weren’t planning on using a condiment anyway. When placing your order, say exactly which condiments and how many packets, pouches or ramekins you’d like.
