One-week low-histamine meal plan
Histamine intolerance results from the body accumulating too much histamine and not being able to break it down. Some people lack enough amine oxidase enzymes, so they need to avoid foods that contain high levels of histamine.
Some common symptoms of histamine intolerance include chronic headaches or migraines; nasal congestion, sinus issues and runny nose; fatigue; hives; digestive issues and diarrhea; rash and eczema; wheezing; heartburn; swelling of face, hands and/or lips; and abdominal pain.
