Popular wedding themes can include anything from carving stations, raw bars or grilled vegetables. All of these are naturally or easily gluten free. Talk to your venue or your caterer to know all your options.
Another easy way to make menu-planning easy is to pick a theme. Some options include Italian, Mexican, Thai or Vietnamese. Many Asian dishes are rice based and naturally gluten free or can easily be made gluten free by using gluten free tamari in place of the traditional soy sauce. Foods like fresh spring rolls can easily be made gluten free by using gluten-free rice paper. Remember to select gluten-free dipping sauces, too! Other food options like corn tortillas, salsa and beans are almost always gluten free and Italian dishes are easily converted to gluten free by using gluten-free pasta or gluten-free pizza crusts. You can also opt for a rice-based risotto option, as well. Since rice is naturally gluten free, this could be a good option.
