10 clever uses for baking soda
Fight tomato fungal disease
There is belief that sprinkling baking soda on the soil around your garden tomatoes will help make them sweeter. But The Gardening Cook says that is more of a myth than fact. You can, however, fight tomato fungal disease with a homemade spray: Combine a gallon of water with a tablespoon of baking soda and 2½ tablespoons of vegetable oil in a spray bottle. Stir and add ½ teaspoon of castile soap. Spray the solution on the foliage of tomato plants until the fungal disease disappears.
