13 healthy and creative food trucks
Quiero Arepas
Quiero Arepas is a food truck bringing the taste of South America to the Mile High City, thanks to its native Venezuelan owner. An arepa is a corn-based flatbread that’s formed into a patty, which is then grilled, baked and split open to house a variety of ingredients and toppings. Established in 2010, Quiero Arepas is the first certified gluten-free truck in the nation, and everything on board is made from scratch daily. The truck is devoted to a zero-waste policy and doesn’t provide lids, straws, plates or utensils. Be prepared to eat with your hands.
