Men: Here’s when to get screened for major health conditions
Get yourself to the doctor, fellas! Use this chart to know when to get screened for serious health conditions that can affect men. If you're at a greater risk for certain diseases—for example, if you're overweight or others in your family have been diagnosed—talk with your health care provider about getting screened earlier.
What about a prostate cancer screening?
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend against screening for prostate cancer unless you are experiencing symptoms, which can range from trouble passing urine to numbness in your feet. Talk with your doctor to decide if you should get tested.
