The research: Researchers from the Center for Disease Control examined the relationship between dietary niacin (found in peanuts) and the risk of Alzhemier’s and cognitive decline. They found that higher niacin intake was inversely correlated to Alzheimer’s disease, and associated with a slower annual rate of cognitive decline.
