Amana Orange

Named for the Amana Colonies in Iowa, these tomatoes are a beautiful bright orange with a tropical taste; you may catch hints of mango, pineapple and peach in a bite.

“The flavor tends to flatten out with cooking," Kasper explains, "so instead, combine raw chunks with fresh nectarines, sweet onion slivers, cubes of jicama, and lots of fresh lime. A puree of chipotle chilies in adobo lightly streaked over the platter is a nice touch as well.”
