In the beauty world, old news are so-called “big three free” polishes, which eliminated dibutyl phthalate (banned in Europe because of links to birth defects), toluene and formaldehyde. Then a few brands phased out formaldehyde resin, thus becoming “big four free.” Now Pacifica enters the game with a gorgeous new range of polishes that are formulated without xylene, parabens and camphor, as well. They’ve got a glossy all-in-one base and top coat that works wonders, as well as a mattifying top coat. And, like everything Pacifica, the product is never animal tested and always cruelty free. Color me obsessed.
