Lynn Hirshfield
Lynn Hirshfield is Participant Media’s Senior Vice President of Publishing, where she is responsible for launching Participant’s publishing division to complement the company’s films and social action campaigns. She has been involved in such films as "Lincoln," “A Place at the Table,” “Waiting for Superman,” “The Cove,” “Food, Inc.,” and “An Inconvenient Truth.” She oversaw publishing of paperback original books which include the NY Times bestseller “Food, Inc.” and “Waiting for Superman.”
Hirshfield is also the author of the award-winning book “Girls Gone Green,” a sustainability activist guide for readers 10 to 17.
Lynn, who joined Participant Media in January 2005, is also responsible for leading the development of strategic marketing partnerships, integrating these partners into social action and advocacy campaigns. Lynn’s work in film, TV and the internet, has garnered a number of awards, including four Emmys, a Peabody Award and two Television Critics Awards.
