Want to break into the big time with your food blog? Galaxy Nutritional Foods is sponsoring a blogger contest, and the winner gets to attend the International Food Blogger Conference in Santa Monica, California.
I’m a fan of Galaxy Nutritional Foods new vegan cream cheese (which I devoured in the form of this Vegan Marbled Brownie at Expo West last March), so I was psyched when they asked me to be a judge for Galaxy's first blogger sponsorship contest. If you, too, like their vegan, soy, rice, and/or organic cheeses and have a food blog that you’ve been publishing for at least 12 months, you should enter!
Here’s the gist: Submit a 75-word (or less) musing on “How Galaxy Nutritional Foods Has Changed My Life,” and include one photo of a dish you made using a Galaxy product. (It doesn’t have to be your own original recipe; just your favorite.) We’ll be judging based on theme relevance, creativity, and where your entry falls on the inspiration meter. Make it a good photo, too, because we’ll be looking at composition (lighting, angle, background) and creativity. Submit entries to galaxyrecipecontest@gmail.com.
If you win, Galaxy will give you $1,000 to attend the International Food Blogger Conference, November 11-12, 2011, in Santa Monica, California, as their representative. You’ll get to network with other bloggers, attend seminars by influential chefs, bloggers, and thought-leaders, and gain major exposure for your own blog, Facebook page, and Twitter handle.
