I recall when Royal Numico (Dutch firm) bought GNC at a significant price/multiple and then sold GNC at a horrendous loss......might history be repeating itself? I can't imagine this will be good for GNC's U.S. business and operators...though I'm sure it'll be a good deal for GNC's private equity owners......and will be another chapter in the story of private equity's destructive impact on business.</p>
