  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • ½ organic lemon (quartered, seeds removed, peel left on)
  • 2 organic celery stalks, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped organic cucumber
  • 1 small organic green apple
  • 1 handful organic parsley
  • 1 frozen medium banana
  • 2 pitted dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
  • 2 cups ice

Wheatgrass powder is a concentrated source of vitamins and minerals and also contains dietary chlorophyll, which may help the body detox from heavy metals by binding to them for excretion. It is high in magnesium, a mineral known to reduce water retention. Kale, like all cruciferous vegetables, is especially high in glucosinolates, which support detoxification of potentially cancer-causing substances. Leafy greens are also high in fiber and promote the body’s natural elimination process. Parsley is an herb used to reduce indigestion. It also helps the body remove toxins by supporting elimination and urination.
