Golden Milk
  • 3 cups almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ tablespoon honey, or to taste
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)

Stir up a mug of calming Golden Milk, put your feet up and relax. It’s a great component to Hygge (pronounced hoo-gah), the Danish practice of cozying up with friends, food and drinks. 

(gluten free, vegan)

  1. Add almond milk, turmeric, ginger, honey, pepper and salt to a small saucepan. Place pan over medium heat, and whisk occasionally.
  2. Once the mixture reaches a simmer, turn off the heat, remove pan and serve warm in mugs.
  3. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, if desired.
