  • 1 small banana, peeled, sliced and frozen
  • 6-7 ounces fresh blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut, for garnish

Blackberry-Coconut Shake

This simple but luscious shake is perfect for an afternoon snack or kid-friendly dessert. Frozen banana add sweetness and rich texture without extra sugar and fat; keep several sliced bananas in your freezer for last-minute shake prep.

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine ice cream or sorbet, milk, banana, and all but 8 blackberries. Purée until thick and smooth. Immediately divide among cold glasses. Sprinkle with shredded coconut, garnish with reserved blackberries, and serve immediately.
