5 party-worthy toast toppers

A few simple ingredients can take toast to a whole new level.
The possibilities are endless: Start with a sturdy, ½-inch thick slice of bread (or use an English muffin or bagel). If using a skinny loaf, such as French bread, cut slices on the diagonal so you have more surface area for tasty toppings. Toast bread in a little olive oil in a skillet until golden brown, or use a toaster oven. Layer toast with desired toppings.

Peaches & Cream
You'll need:
• Herb Ricotta*
• Sliced peaches
• Fresh basil
• Honey*To make Herb Ricotta:
In a bowl, mix 1 cup ricotta with 2 tablespoons fresh herbs, such as lavender, oregano, or thyme. Stir in 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and ½ tablespoon grated fresh ginger.

Melon Prosciutto
You'll need:
• Cream cheese
• Thin sliced melon
• Prosciutto

Grape & Goat
You'll need:
• Soft goat cheese
• Roasted Grapes*
• Fresh rosemary*To make Roasted Grapes:
In a small pot, heat 2 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon honey, and 1 rosemary sprig for 5 minutes, or until fragrant. Toss 2 cups halved grapes with oil mixture, ½ teaspoon balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper. Spread grapes on a baking sheet and roast at 425°F for 30 minutes.
