A quick, easy side dish that makes a wonderful accompaniment to fish or chicken.
Recipe Ingredient Details:
1 1/2 pounds asparagus spears
3 teaspoons olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400°.
Snap off tough ends of asparagus or peel them with vegetable peeler.
Place asparagus in 13"x9" baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Add thinly sliced garlic and sprinkle with salt, thyme, oregano and pepper. Toss well until mixed. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring once or twice.
