A light, comforting drink that’s perfect after a meal or just before bed.
Recipe Ingredient Details:
5 1⁄2 cups water
1⁄2 cup fresh mint leaves, loosely packed
3 tablespoons agave nectar, or 1⁄4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1⁄2 lemon, thinly sliced
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a simmer. Add mint and agave or sugar. Simmer for 3 more minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 6 minutes. Strain, squeezing mint to extract all liquid. Stir in lemon juice. Pour into cups and add one-half slice of lemon to each.
