The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) awarded First Place in the annual Art of the Show graphic design competition to Natural MarketPlace (Attendance Promotion Brochure, under 50,000 nsf) and Natural Products Expo West (Green Printed Collateral Printed Piece, over 150,000 nsf). “This was the first year the Green Printed Collateral Piece was awarded, and we are proud to be recognized for our steadfast devotion to decreasing our carbon footprint while maintaining our position as the world’s largest natural, organic and healthy products tradeshow” said Natural Products Expo West’s Scott Sherpe, marketing manager.
For the third year running, Natural Products Expo East & West / Supply Expo have been named in Trade Show Executive's Gold 100 Award as the leaders in Green Initiatives amongst the trade show industry. This award is based on the myriad of eco-friendly practices the events institute through a commitment to sustainability, including: elimination of a printed buyers’ guide, providing an energy offset program for the venue and travel; creating a donation plan for excess product from show floors to benefit charities and nonprofit organizations; providing a paperless press room; developing waste management programs; and creating environmentally friendly booth packages for exhibitors.
