Dust off your computer screen weekly with a soft cloth; a dirty screen contributes to eyestrain.
The best lighting conditions produce equal brightness throughout your entire field of vision. To achieve optimum lighting, reposition the screen to cut as much glare as possible, shade the windows, change the position of lamps, or reduce lighting wattage.
Give your eyes a quick break by glancing off into the distance every ten minutes. Take an even longer break every 30 minutes.
Blink often — it's a minibreak for the eyes.
