Non-caloric sweeteners do NOT stimulate insulin response. Five seconds on Google Scholar brings up bunches of papers clearly showing that a non-caloric sweetener (such as sucralose)doesn't stimulate insulin. Where does Dr. Shelke get this information? It certainly doesn't fit the known science. It may be reasonable to suggest that we can do a better job of formulating products, but the reasons given just don't gibe with the science.</p>
