Laugh often for a healthy heart

Here’s a fun fact: According to study results presented at the 2009 annual meeting of the American Physiological Society, diabetics with high cholesterol who did a year of laughter therapy—30-minute sessions of humor of their choice—showed significantly lower levels of stress hormones and C-reactive protein (CRP), as well as a considerable rise in HDL levels, compared with a control group.
