How to reduce your pet's eco impact

Reduce your pet's eco impact with these tips from Camp Bow Wow, a Boulder, Colorado-based doggy day care.

1. Decrease landfill accumulation by picking up after your dog with biodegradable bags derived from non-GMO cornhusks.

Try: BioBag Certified Compostable Dog Waste Bags

2. Choose a pet care product free of irritating parabens, sulfates, and artificial dyes. Look for skin- and coat-nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, colloidal oatmeal, and aloe vera. When visiting the groomer, request plant-based rather than chemical shampoo.

Try: Earthbath Waterless Hypo-Allergenic Grooming Foam for Dogs

3. Feed your pup organic dog food, which has little-to-no fillers so your pooch will absorb more nutrients. Added bonus: These products are often free from common allergens and are gentler on dogs’ stomachs and the environment.

Try: Natural Planet Organics All Life Stages Dog Formula

4. Adopt a pet from a shelter to help offset the 6 million to 8 million cats and dogs that enter U.S. pounds each year. Make sure to have your pet spayed or neutered as well.

We need to buy natural pet food products so that it doesn't harm our environment. We need to select a pet product which is free from sulfates, we should feed our pet with organic foods. By taking of these it will definitely help these steps.
