So Udi's products, gluten free cereal, and Food For Life English muffins are bad for you?
Not at all! I'm a huge fan of Udi's bread and bagels when I have to have a sandwich, and there are tons of GF cereals and granolas out there that have merit. But when you're gluten free (especially early on, when you might be focused on all you CAN'T eat), it's all too easy to fill up on less-healthy, highly processed carbs -- they tend to be less expensive and easily accessible. Anything is fine in moderation; but the point is to be smart about looking at ingredient labels, especially for GF snacks, and not to succumb to a snack JUST because it's gluten free, when there are better-for-you options out there.
